Marshall Crenshaw penned this Buddy Holly influenced number and Gordon recorded it on « Are You Gonna Be The One » his last album for RCA in 1981, with Danny Gatton on guitar. The album sold more than 200,000 copies and the song reached #76 on the Bilboard charts.

Switchblade – Waitin’ for a Train

Mouse (Red Hot’n’Blue) started Switchblade, a rockabilly/rockin’ blues band, in late 1989 with Graeme Grant (Demented Are Go, Krewmen) on bass, Eric LaCube on drums (who previously worked with Mouse in The Dillas a recording project) and Guy Bolton on lead guitar (Born Bad). The band only lasted one year, then Mouse reformed Red Hot’n’Blue….
